Do we still need heroes?

In my opinion, we still need heroes. We need heroes to stand out and help us in times of disaster. One such example is when the fukushima nuclear crisis occurred in Japan, many workers risked their lives and tried to stop the nuclear plant radiation from generating more radiation. Their heroic actions caused people around the world to benefit, and they are widely recognised and respected. These heroes risked their life in order to save the lives of others, and because of them, the entire region and the world suffered lesser from the radiation, at a cost: the workers are exposed to more radiation. In today's society, we still need heroes to do those things that most people do not dare to do, and we also need them to save the world.
