From wikipedia, i clicked on this website: http://www.crockford.com/chess/xiangqi.html The information on the website is a guide for people to learn how to play Chinese Chess, it covered not many tactics, but it gives a lot of the rules and regulations in a xiangqi match. The source is used properly as it is cited as one of the sources of that wikipedia page, and also because the information in the website is relevant, and is used in this wikipedia page.
The website that I have researched independently is http://www.chessvariants.com/xiangqi.html. This website gives us a detailed explanation of the function of each chess piece, and also common symbols that we see which represent the actual chess piece. Also, this website gives us a brief description on how to play Chinese Chess, and some tactics that we can use when playing Chinese Chess. This website uses interactive elements like videos and pictures to make readers better understand the concept and the instructions of the game.
After comparing the two sources, I find that the information in the source in wikipedia is quite accurate, as it covers most of the basic knowledge we need to know in order to play Chinese Chess, which is one of the purpose of this source. Furthermore, most of the instructions are correct. However, as compared to the source I studied independently, the source from wikipedia is a bit biase, as it only states the benefits of Chinese Chess, and how good and nice Chinese Chess is. I feel that its purpose is to promote chinese chess by showing how fun Chinese Chess is, and thus it shows very little or none of the bad aspects of Chinese Chess, and wrote in such a way that shows that Chinese Chess is the best game in the world. Overall, I feel that this source is credible, but only to the extent of the instructions and description of each cheepiece, as I find that the part on how good Chinese Chess is a bit biase as no particular evidence, like survey or report is stated in the website to support the fact that Chinese Chess is a great game, although the writer feels that Chinese Chess is an "excellent game"and is "much livelier game than Chess".
