Write about a vivid childhood memory of an event that helped influence the person you are today

This incident happened when I was very young, at about five years old. My father brought me to upper peers reservoir and showed to be how to build a basic structure of a stool, using nothing but sticks and grasses. He made use of a few sticks to construct a structure which is so strong, I could not tear it apart although I used both hands! He told me that when we know how to use things around us to help us, they can be the greatest tools as we do not need to find them, and we can reach them at ease. This incident shaped me as a person that adapts well, and a person that is efficient when doing things. Whenever I am exposed to a new surrounding, I observe the things and people around me, which could help me. I was more efficient in doing things like homework, when I made use of online resources, and when I observe the method of understanding key points, it helped me understand the formulas and methods easier.
